Audio Measurements
Clapping your hands can give you an idea of how much reverberation there is in a room, listening to audio page for intelligibility, evaluating audio level in specific zone - all can be done subjectively but using a measurement system ensures optimal performance from your system. We use NTI XL2
audio kit with STIPA option (speech intelligibility measured by reproducing a known signal known as the STIPA test signal and measuring the quality of that signal as it reaches each of the measurement positions). You get measurement results and a digital report can be created for your records. We can also perform audio distributed systems, impedance measurements, ensure optimum audio reproduction, and check proper polarity of speakers installed.
If you have property managers that have tenants complaining about noise levels, our instrument will validate if their concerns are legitimate. Using the NTI XL2, we can measure in various weightings: the most common weightings that are used in noise measurement are the A weighting (similar to the human ear), B weighting for sound system applications and Z flat weighting for engineering measurements. The NTI XL 2 measure all 3 weightings simultaneously.
CAD Drafting
A napkin drawing is a good way to start a design, however, for confidence in the final results, professional CAD drawings will ensure that everyone on a project will be on the same page, serve as a record of what has been integrated, and important for future reference. Our drawings sets include architectural drawings with integration equipment location and info pertinent to other trades (i.e. power requirements, conduit size and location etc.). Flow diagrams with cable number support system integration and functions to achieve expected performance. Finally, "as built" drawings reflect the actual systems installed and site conditions for your records and future reference.
